Czech-Slovak Workshop on
Dynamical Systems 2018

Banská Bystrica, 19-22 June 2018

The workshop continues the series of Czech-Slovak Workshops on Dynamical Systems. It is focused on the general mathematical theory of dynamical systems with emphasis on topological dynamics, symbolic dynamics and low-dimensional dynamics.

The workshop is organized by Department of Mathematics of Faculty of Natural Sciences of Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia, from June 18 till June 23, 2018 (Monday June 18 is arrival day, June 19-22 are working days, Saturday June 23 is departure day).

The conference hotel is Národný dom - see more in the Accommodation section. The lecture room is in the Faculty of Political Sciences and International Relations of Matej Bel University, which is a hundred meters from the hotel Národný dom.

Banská Bystrica is the most important historical, cultural and economic centre of the central Slovakia. In the city as well as in its surroundings, there are historical monuments worth to see. Not far from Banská Bystrica there are the Low Tatras, the mountain range which is one of the popular Slovak tourist resorts.
